Synopsis
Imagine a world where the Cold War DIDN'T end, a world where rival nations battled each other through client nations over matters of ideology and politics... with the threat of nuclear warfare a normal part of everyday life.
Mylene Hoffman, a.k.a. Agent 009-1, is an individual who lives in this world. A special agent of the Zero-Zero Organization, she is a member of a group of female agents known as the Nine Number group. Her entire body has been cyberneticly altered as the ultimate espionage and battle weapon – which includes twin machine guns in a rather 'special' location on her body. That, along with her sharp mind, makes Mylene one of the most deadly of the Nine Number group.
The manga which 009-1 was derived is the work of the late Shotaro Ishinomori, whose work includes Cyborg 009.
