Synopsis
Everybody thought Takashi Kamiyama was insane! An above-average high school student and a radio comidian, he has had the audacity of enroll in Cromartie High School. Why do they think this of Takashi? Because the school is filled with juvenile delinquents, and anyone becoming a student there either has to be stupid, crazy, suicidal – or a real badass! Well, Takashi is neither, he just wants to somehow turn the school for the better.
Well, he seems to have his work cut-out for him. Among some of the students in the school is his first friend, Shinjiro Hayashida, who is also the dumbest students in the school (he also has a fake purple Mohawk), Shinichi Mechazawa, one of the most notorious of the delinquents – and a robot, Freddie, a mute Freddie Mercury look-alike who comes to school on a horse, and a bald gorilla (yes, I said a gorilla) who just happens to be a talented sushi chef.
Hey, nobody said attending to this school was going to be easy!
