Ikki Tousen
From OtakuWiki
Synopsis
In the district of Kento in the city of Tokyo, the students of seven schools are fighting a war of dominance, either between the schools – or within them, with their blood as payment. All the students are guided by the spirits of legendary warriors from the "Three Kingdoms" era in China, as evident by the beads they wear on their persons.
Into this seeming chaos, Hakufu Sonsaku, a.k.a. "The Booby-Bomb Girl", enrolls in Nanyo Private School... and almost immediately stirs up trouble! She is a busty, beautiful girl, not too bright – but is a good fighter, by the way she knocked-out several boys when she crossed the school's gates! Her guiding spirit is Sun Ce, one of the most powerful fighters ever to have lived in the Three Kingdoms era – and one who died at a young age.
As time goes by, Hakufu, with help from her cousin Kokin Shuyu, the moody Shimei Ryomou, as well as Hakufu's spirited mother Goei, is discovering that there are many other fighters that are gunning for her... some even seeking to kill her. Will she be able to defeat them all – and will she be able to control the growing spirit within her before it consumes her totally?
The second series, Ikki Tousen: Dragon Destiny, continues the story arc. And on June 1 of 2008, the newest of the series, Ikki Tousen: Great Guardians, premiered in Japan. A fourth series, Ikki Tousen: Xtreme Xecutor, is currently under production.
