Synopsis

Mima Kirigoe was the lead vocalist in the J-pop girl trio "CHAM!" when, at the height of her popularity, she quits the group in order to pursue a career in serious drama. Understandably, many of her fans are upset at this new direction in her life – especially a stalker pursuing her by the name Me-Mania.

But the first project Mima embarks in, a 'direct-to-video' psychological drama titled "Double Blind', has them even more upset – especially her manager Rumi, who wants to capitalized on Mima's past J-pop image. The film has many controversial scenes, including one where Mima's character is violently raped. But Mima presses on with the project. But soon, a greater danger is looming ahead.

An online diarist is posing as Mima, and is distraught with the film, writing her feelings supposedly from the former singer's point-of-view. And the very intense - and very graphic rape scene Mima plays soon has her beginning to doubt her sanity – as well as those forcing Mima into particularly distasteful parts are brutally murdered – and Mima is the prime suspect! Can she escape with both her life and mind intact?
