Synopsis

Because he wasn't a good student, Tsukune Aono had to abandon his dream of entering a private high school. However, despite his alarmingly-low test scores, he WAS admitted in one school – Youkai Academy. However, much to his horror, Tsukune finds WHY the school was named as such – the students happen to be monsters (youkai) taking human form to interact with normal humans!

It was while he was trying to escape the school that Tsukune runs into Moko Askashiya, a young girl who just happens to be a vampire. However, Moko just happens to be one of the most kind-hearted individuals in the school, and seems to be attracted to Tsukune – mostly because she thinks his blood tastes sweet.

As strange as it might seem, Tsukune finds himself strangely to Moko. So he decides to stay at the school, making-up a story that he's a monster in disguise. Of course, this makes him a target to many of the other pretty monsters at the school – as well as discovering the secret Moko has when the rosary around her neck is removed, which reveals her more powerful, dangerous other half!
