Plot

Toradora! is a romantic comedy about five classmates. Ryuji Takasu inherited a scary face from his gangster-esque father, and is cursed to a life of people judging him as a delinquent tough guy before they ever get to know him. Behind his mean exterior, he's actually a very caring and considerate guy, and a bit of a clean freak. The daily fights he gets into are with household mold and dust, not with other classmates.

On the first day of school, Ryuuji bumps into Taiga Aisaka, a girl nicknamed "The Palmtop Tiger" for her small stature but ferocious attitude. After a series of misunderstandings, Ryuji and Taiga learn that they have a crush on each other's best friends. Faced with an unusual dilemma, Ryuji becomes Taiga's 'dog' in an effort for them both to hook-up with their true loves. Ryuuji has a crush on Minori Kushieda (whom Taiga calls 'Minorin'), and Taiga has one on Yūsaku Kitamura.

((UPDATE)) - On February 12, 2010, the U.S. division of Nippon Ishi Software, NIS America, announced it intention of distribution of anime, with one of the first four titles being Toradora!. No release date has been set yet.
