Synopsis

The ditsiest space policewoman in the galaxy, Mihoshi Kuramitsu, is finally highlighted in this OVA special, based on the Tenchi Muyo! OVA.

When Princess Ayeka Jurai questions Mihoshi's qualifications as a Galaxy Policewoman one spring day – when the Seniwan girl was dozing in the sun rather than doing chores – Mihoshi vehemently objects, then begins to tell the others – Ayeka, Tenchi Masaki, Sasami Jurai, Ryoko Hakubi, Washu Hakubi and Ryo-Ohki – about her greatest case ever... the "Ultra-Energy Matter Caper". In it, Mihoshi casts her friends as characters in the adventure as she, along with partner Kiyone Makibi, track-down a space pirate stealing a substance called Ultra-Energy Matter... for what purpose is the question.

And if the thefts of the substance wasn't bad enough, the pirate involved ("Ryoko") kidnaps the Galaxy Policeman sent to capture her ("Tenchi')... and tries to seduce him. Of course, "Tenchi's" highly-strung heiress fiancé ("Ayeka") will not stand for this, so she has Mihoshi and Kiyone help track down the pirate (which runs close to meddling in G.P. matters). But soon, an insidious plot is uncovered in which "Ryoko's" mother, ("Washu"), a mad scientist, is working on a machine using the Ultra-Energy Matter that has only one purpose in mind – the destruction of the universe.

This episode features the only OVA appearance of Kiyone, as well as the debut of Sasami in the role of Pretty Sammy, who helps out Mihoshi and Kiyone in saving the day.
